Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how Billz Media ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit this website, send a booking request or contact us. We handle personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana.

Information we collect

When you send a booking request we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the type of shoot, the date and location, your budget, the package you are interested in and your message. We also create a reference number for your request.

Like most websites, our server may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use it to keep the site secure and to prevent spam and abuse.

Cookies and similar tools

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. A small cookie may be set to protect the booking form from abuse, and your choice of light or dark mode is saved on your own device. Videos from YouTube or Vimeo, if we embed them, may set their own cookies when you play them.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only where it is needed to run our business: with our website hosting and email providers, and with payment providers when you pay for a service. We may also share information if the law requires it. Each of these parties is expected to protect your information.

Footage and people who appear in it

When we film a wedding or an event, guests and other people may appear in the footage. The client who books us is responsible for letting guests know that filming will take place. We may show finished work in our portfolio, on our website and on social media, as set out in our terms and conditions. If you appear in a published video and would like it taken down, contact us and we will deal with your request promptly.

How long we keep information

We keep booking details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, deliver your project and keep proper business records. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Keeping your information safe

Our website uses HTTPS, our admin area is protected by individual accounts, and passwords are stored in hashed form. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to certain uses of it. To make a request, contact us by phone or WhatsApp using the details on our Contact page. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

Children

This website is not aimed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
